PreSchool teacher job description
PreSchool teachers work with children ages 36 months. They usually look after these children in groups, leading activities, teaching them lessons in elementary subjects, supervising playtime and taking them on field trips. They may work with a child one-on-one to develop specific skills. Because they are often responsible for infants, they must teach the most basic social skills, change diapers and clean up bathroom accidents.
Teachers can expect to spend some time outside of instruction hours preparing activities or updating notes on the progress of specific children.
